As i sit up in bed cringing in pain at five thirty in the morning form a wisdom tooth extraction a few days ago, i find the desire to etch the purchase of my latest addition of tech to my arsenal into the digital scrapbook we call the web. The HTC Touch Pro from Verizon is one of the most powerful devises you can find. It rivals the storm like power of the iphone and any other smartphone currently out statewide. Packed with a touchscreen that is pushing the boundaries of what perfection truly is and a full QWERTY key pad that feels extra buttery to the fingers. HTC has not “bitched-out” with the push of this business oriented phone.
So its got Windows mobile 6.1, an awesome interface tagged “Touch Flo 3d,” Full Keypad including a row devoted to one through nine (instead of doing the blackberry thing and cramming as many small symbols on a single set of buttons).
It also has lagg. The Touch from Verizon has about half of the operating Memory making it significantly slower than that of which other companies offer. Opera mobile is nice… im tired of zooming in constantly and panning around html files as if im searching them for fingerprints at a crime scene but there is just no getting around that. But to close on the faults, so so frustrating. thank you windows for being a memory hog, and Verizon; cheers the removal of half of the liveliness was just brilliant, thank you.
- now i will note. I have already modified the Touch Pro. Using a Different Framework and a “Advanced Configuration” tool i changed some crucial memory setting and sped up some of my frequent commands. I now dub it worthy. but geeze before that it was painfull
