Can i get it in a terabyte? I was always looking for a HD that would not only store all my media but also serve as a fun desk piece. {Via}

As i sit up in bed cringing in pain at five thirty in the morning form a wisdom tooth extraction a few days ago, i find the desire to etch the purchase of my latest addition of tech to my arsenal into the digital scrapbook we call the web. The HTC Touch Pro from Verizon is one of the most powerful devises you can find. It rivals the storm like power of the iphone and any other smartphone currently out statewide. Packed with a touchscreen that is pushing the boundaries of what perfection truly is and a full QWERTY key pad that feels extra buttery to the fingers. HTC has not “bitched-out” with the push of this business oriented phone.

So its got Windows mobile 6.1, an awesome interface tagged “Touch Flo 3d,” Full Keypad including a row devoted to one through nine (instead of doing the blackberry thing and cramming as many small symbols on a single set of buttons).

It also has lagg. The Touch from Verizon has about half of the operating Memory making it significantly slower  than that of which other companies offer. Opera mobile is nice… im tired of zooming in constantly and panning around html files as if im searching them for fingerprints at a crime scene but there is just no getting around that. But to close on the faults, so so frustrating. thank you windows for being a memory hog, and Verizon; cheers the removal of half of the liveliness was just brilliant, thank you.

- now i will note. I have already modified the Touch Pro. Using a Different Framework and a “Advanced Configuration” tool  i changed some crucial memory setting and sped up some of my frequent commands. I now dub it worthy. but geeze before that it was painfull

For anyone who is looking for the Cadillac “METAL” commercial song [Firehydrant flood by black Iris]. I located the sick deep pulsing beat…

After hours of scanning pages for the quick and easy download i came up with nothing. This dam song was proving to be a royal pain in my ass….

…so i resorted to some google hacking. A few index pages later and a couple parent directories of random sites that seemed to have some corroulation to the words “Black, Iris, Fire-hydrant, and flood.” I found the bitch of a song.

… for all your listining pleasure i also hosted it it on ZShare.net

Feel free to spread the wealth, link to this page.

enjoy.

Wait what? Microsoft caved and finally put out support for OS X?

Naa. Sorry about it. Doesn’t seem like thats going to happen. So you wonder to yourself what your going to do with that flashy $250.00 Mp3 player. Well unless you find it much more useful as a paper weight on your desk there is a solution.

Since Microsoft doesn’t support the Mac perspective why not flip things around and take advantage of Apple’s support of Microsoft?

My thought process was that exactly. Apple supports Windows, Windows supports Zune Player and USB 2.0. Now i in no way was i going to partition my HD for such a small gain. But much rather set up a Virtual Machine. VMware Fusion

Zune Player in Unity mode
Zune Player in Unity mode

was my application of choice.  Simply enough with a Copy of VMware, Windows Xp Pro, and the Zune software i went to work. Setting up VMware and from there windows. Once all was said and done the only thing one was to fear is not allowing your virtual machine enough HD space. thats plus maybe some virus protection for Windows and your set to go.

I have been a mac user for quite a while now. I have run into minor issues with older hardware. An Occasional glitch, But never a true honest problem with the OS. I only have one complaint. Where in the sam hell is the built in sound settings. Yeah you ca edit volume and output devices, but that is surprising the end of it.

Now lets get one thing out of the way. I pursue the perfection of my music. Through iTunes you can edit the sound settings with a well laid out EQ. As far as the system audio goes there is no such thing.

To solve this issue i went on a search. I set out to find the best deal [AKA Free] for a third party EQ that will control my system audio output. After countless hours of scanning forums and hacked up google searches i came across a program that generally gets the job done. Its called Audio Hijack. There used to be a free version supposedly. I couldn’t locate anything But the New Audio Hijack Pro, supplied by a small computer software company called Rouge Amoeba. The program is supposed to cost something close to $60. Now lets just say i wasn’t a fan for the price and i found my ways around that but after downloading and installing i found it to get the job done as well as supply a few perks. I can now record straight from a designated application as well as Burn CD s directly through the program. Im not going to go much into the small aspects of it but if you so desire a Universal solution to your unchangeable scratchy audio settings check it out for yourself.
